The CavaQuinhos

The cavaquinho is the basic ingredient you need for playing samba or choro. In Brazil they say that without a cavaquinho there is no samba - so important has its role become. Therefore there is high demand on cavaquinhos. But cavaquinhos of a high quality are hard to find. That is why we offer these handcrafted instruments to satisfy even the most demanding player. They are so easy to play that you will not want to put them down. And when your fingers finally are sore you can marvel at the woodwork and smell the scent of Brazil from the soundhole while you take a well earned rest.

The CavaQuinhos are brazilian cavaquinhos handcrafted by luthier Anders Perander to the highest level of craftsmanship. They come in two variations: 4-string or 5-string. The Cavaquinho 4 is a traditional cavaquinho that will be the perfect choice for samba and chorinho. The Cavaquinho 5 is for the experimental player who wants to explore the possibilities of the cavaquinho as a solo instrument or in different styles of music or simply just having that extra string to give more color. Both instruments can be ordered with or without a passive pickup. They come in a hardcase with a perfect fit. These Cavaquinhos are a professional choice for musicians who want the best out of their instruments.

The DrumBox® is a drumset that fits in your pocket. It is an acoustic instrument, which means that you can play it at home or wherever you are, but it's most amazing property is that it is amplified with pickups so that you can plug it into any amplifier and get yourself heard even by a whole stadium of people. The DrumBox has three playing surfaces; bass, treble and click but you can get more sounds than these. The amplification is passive, so no need for batteries, just plug and play. This is as simple as it gets, lo-fi at its best!

There are two models of DrumBox; I and III. Model II is no longer available and is substituted by Model III. The difference between the models is in the bass response. DrumBox I is the simpler one and it's bass is like that of a cajon. DrumBox III is more complex and it's bass sounds like that of a bass drum. You will only believe it once you hear it! DrumBox III also has a tone control to adjust high frequencies.

Recycled materials are used as much as possible to ensure a sustainable and ecological product. Patent pending.
